Drawing X is a detailed mixed media drawing on paper that incorporates charcoal, ink, and natural mineral washes. The artwork is a study of water reflections, ripples, and liquid distortions. Shweta Jain Maheshwari applied layers of thin black ink line work, then partially washed them away with wet brushes, finally reinforcing the lines with sharp charcoal pencil details. The concept is based on the fluid nature of memory—how details dissolve, blur, and reshape themselves over time. The soft blue-grey washes and subtle texturing create a highly calming, aquatic atmosphere.
